TexasGTO Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-08-18

Overview

TexasGTO is a Texas Hold'em study and hand-review assistant. It is not a gambling app, poker-room client, live table overlay, bot, or real-money wagering product.

Data We Process

Advertising and Consent

Free users may see banner advertising in the Analyze and Training screens. An active paid membership removes those in-app banners. TexasGTO uses Google Mobile Ads and the User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request consent where required and to provide the available privacy choices.

When an ad is requested, Google Mobile Ads may process an IP address or general location, device or advertising identifiers, advertising data, product interactions, performance data, crash data, and other diagnostic data. These categories can be used for third-party advertising, advertising measurement, fraud prevention, and SDK analytics. TexasGTO does not send your hole cards, board cards, action lines, hand histories, saved notes, quota identifiers, or subscription transaction identifiers to the advertising SDK for ad selection.

TexasGTO requests non-personalized ad behavior and disables Firebase advertising-personalization signals. Non-personalized advertising can still use mobile identifiers for frequency capping and aggregated reporting. UMP consent choices and regional requirements determine which ad requests are allowed; where UMP provides an ad privacy entry point, you can review or change it from Settings. Google processes advertising data under the Google Privacy Policy.

Basic Analytics

Basic analytics is enabled by default in the public App Store release so we can understand app usage and improve TexasGTO. Debug and TestFlight builds do not collect analytics. In the App Store release, you can turn it off at any time in Settings under Privacy & Analytics. This choice persists across app launches.

Analytics does not include your hole cards, board cards, action lines, pasted hand histories, saved review hands, contact information, or advertising identifier. We do not set a Firebase user ID, use Firebase Analytics for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking, or use Firebase Analytics to build an advertising profile.

Google processes this analytics data as our service provider under the Firebase privacy and security terms.

What Stays On Device

Hand analysis, card selections, equity calculations, and saved review hands are designed to run locally. The server does not need your hand history to calculate advice.
